January can bring the blues when you live in a very snowy place like I do. Most of the folks around here are on prescription Vitamin D. My last blood test showed that I actually have an abundance of D-3, so I must be doing something right. I have 2 show quilts I’m working on, all my classes to prepare and plan new and exciting techniques for the students and a beautiful, precocious little 3 year old grand-daughter to keep me in stitches (no pun intended). I look in her big brown eyes and I see the sunshine right there, it warms my soul. I feel so blessed to have some of my grandchildren living with me right now. They keep it so real. Isn’t that what it is all about? I have faith that they will be able to fulfull their dreams, whatever they may be. Yes, no time to be blue, there is hope always on the horizon, even with grey skies. We just have to look for it.
