Inspired! By Bethany

Be inspired as Bethany takes you for an exciting look behind the design. Not only will you add over 10 of Bethany’s unique designs to your quilting repertoire, but you will also learn how to recognize inspirational sources for potential, new quilt designs of your own! Through her easy, step by step process, Bethany explains how a new design is created from the huge variety of inspirational resources around us. She gives specific examples of things that inspire her, such as the mushroom in the backyard, the dangly earrings at the department store, the fern growing by the creek or the seashell on the beach. First she discusses the importance of keeping a photo €œ’stash’€ of objects or things that are inspiring to the designer. Then she talks about how to begin sketching ideas from the inspirational resources. The sketches are then slightly altered to make them into quilting friendly continuous line designs. Finally, the most exciting part takes place as the new design is stitched for the first time!

    • Internet Explorer will start two playbacks at the same time. It is an error in Microsoft’s way they decode HTML5.

I would like to have you use an alternate web browser to see if it corrects the issue.

Firefox is free and is more widely supported on websites.

You can download it here https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Once I confirm you can playback video okay with this, then I will continue to research reasons that Internet Explorer causes this.

      Thank you
